What goes into a Verbivore candle?

I have developed each candle with an emphasis on using eco-friendly and sustainable ingredients. Using premium, plant-based organic olive oil and coconut wax blend, ensures a cleaner burn that's kind to the environment and your well-being.

Verbivore candles are infused with fragrances that provide gentle, well-dispersed scents that won't trigger headaches or migraines, a common concern with many scented products. They contain no phthalates, parabens, or sulfates, so you can enjoy your candle knowing that every component of it has been thoughtfully chosen with sustainability and your well-being in mind.

Olive wax? That's a bit different.

It is! Olive wax is a natural wax made from, yep olive oil. It is a renewable resource that is sustainably sourced from the olive oil industry. 

Olive wax has a low melting point, which basically means a longer-lasting burn and you get to enjoy your candle for longer. 

It also has a subtle natural scent that pairs well with essential oils and fragrances. Additionally, olive wax is hypoallergenic and non-toxic, making it safe for use in candles.

Olive wax is a harder wax so, to ensure it doesn't crack, a bit of coconut wax (which is a softer wax) is added, resulting in a smooth, creamy candle. 

Olive trees have stood for decades and the older they get, the more olives they bear. The olives which are not used for the food industry are used for industrial purposes. The wax for our candles is made from the pulp that is left after the oil extraction by special processes. 

With the complete utilisation of the olive, this wax is one of the most sustainable raw materials in our industry.
